A Complete History of Tibet: Republic of China Volume
Through Konchok Jungne, the 13th Dalai Lama clearly expressed his willingness to pledge allegiance to the Central Government. Hence, the National Government appointed Konchok Jungne as “special envoy of the National Government to convey greetings to Tibet.” On February 16, 1930, Konchok Jungne arrived at Lhasa from India and was received warmly by the 13th Dalai Lama, as well as clerical and secular officials.
