Duow Hospital
In 1926, with the belief that “health was what Tibet urgently needed,” Liu Manqing determined to enroll on the nurse training course at Duow Hospital, Peiping, the successor to the Special Hospital for Women and Infants established by the American Presbyterian Mission in 1885, renamed in 1917 (now the Sixth Hospital of Beijing City).
